FFXIII Desktop SHALL PASS

Instead of studying for final examinations, I decided to just give my desktop a revamp because I got tired of how it looked before. Not that there was anything wrong with it, just felt a bit mundane. And we ALL know that FFXIII is out and already in the hands of gaming fanatics. With the exception of me because no studying will get done if my PS3 ever gets access to it. I’ve watched so many FFXIII walkthroughs which really just adds my inner temptation. Really liking Lightning’s cotton candy hairstyle and her weapon that just reminds me so much of Cloud’s. To reflect my hype, I present to you my new desktop that I just whipped up in a few minutes during my studying break. What do you think?

P.S. You can see that I’m listening to “This too shall pass” by OK GO from their new album (look at my sidebar on the left). Here’s there awesome music video for it and behind the scenes. The amount of work put into it seems endless and the outcome is impeccable!

OH FOR THE LOVE OF LOBSTER!

Last night I decided to join best friend and her aunt to eat at Red Lobster for their Lobster Fest! We arrived just before the massive crowd swarming the front. Don’t think I’ve been there since 7 years ago so this time called for something special. I got the Lobster Lover’s Dream and it was my dream alright especially with those biscuits. I crave more biscuits now. I’m so used to lobster cooked in a Cantonese Style that I got bored of it. This was a good little jolt and has stirred within me the desire to now go to Lobster Trap. It’s so orgasmic dipping the meat into melted butter (ahhh….melted butter) even though it’s almost beyond healthy. It makes me feel better that the rest of the crowd in the front will be doing the same. Once in a while right?

Will be heading out soon to eat at Eggsmart with my mom for brunch near our place that just opened. Going to test it out and see if we’ll become regulars. (Hmm…more food!)

When you study too much…

I could definitely study at a desk like this. Doesn’t it just look so welcoming and green?

Knox’s College Caven library gives me that kind of feeling too except minus the green. Not a lot people know about it but it’s small, quiet, comfy and old. My ideal place when I don’t want anyone bothering me at all. They also have this clositer area and usually have some chairs and tables set up for you to sit and study, or simply to just enjoy a cup of coffee with your book. Forgot to mention when you look to your right or left you see a really nice garden. A couples swing in the garden too. Perfect place to get some textbook reading done and enjoy fresh air. I will be spending most of my time in the cloister area right when the weather warms up a bit more.

DROOL.

Collapsed on top of a desk at Robarts and got knocked out for a good hour. I really hate my Monday mornings and have to resort to naps to make me at least functional. It’s especially bad when you have a dream about sitting at the same desk deriving logic questions and get woken up when another person comes and slams their textbook on the table. The one part of university I won’t miss.

Just found out my father will be at Fairchild TV doing a segment tomorrow. Will be accompanying him with my brother and watch every minute of it on set of course. Wonder if I’ll see any familiar faces there. It’s been so long since I’ve been back.  Which means I have to stop deriving logic questions and wake up bright and early. I keep forgetting about early morning shoots. More on all that once I go.
