Prom Dress. Checkmark!

After weeks of searching and exhaustion from trying on dresses and not wanting to give into dresses my mom thinks look nice but which I secretly despise, I finally found one that has kept us on the same page. It was my original selection but since it’s custom made, it is a big pricey so there was no choice but to keep looking for some cheaper ones. The lady making it for me is the same person that made my Grade 8 graduation dress (which I only wore once but I definitely plan on wearing it for appropriate occasions that fit it’s style and when I loose some of this “chubbiness”).

I’m sure you fellow reader(s), which I suspect there is only one, is curious of my choice of dress. Born with some massive calves, I am left with no choice but to look for a long dress so yes, my prom dress is a long gown. The colour is quite nice, a dark fusia/magenta colour (I don’t know the difference between fusia and magenta). It’s simple but elegant looking halter top. Some folding on the breast area with two strips of rhinestone running along the centre. I have yet to look for my shoes and earrings which I plan to get in either one of the following colours: silver, black or possibly gold. As for my purse, most likely a black clutch purse since I want to use it for different events and it’ll be easier to match with my other dresses. Another thing to cross off my list of to-do’s. *sigh of relief*
